English summary: The study, which originated with the census and study of a large number of sites and structures, has permitted reconstruction of the technical profile and working conditions of construction sites during the eleventh to fifteenth centuries in a border region, notable for its divergent cultural influxes and particular contaminations. The picture thus formulated permits comparison with other geographic areas already studied and help the implementation of interventions aimed at conservation and restoration of historic buildings. Italian description: Lo studio, nato dal censimento e dall'indagine diretta di un rilevante numero di siti e strutture murarie, ha consentito di ricostruire il profilo tecnico e la realta operativa dei cantieri edili che hanno operato nel corso dell'XI - XV secolo in una regione di confine, contraddistinta da influssi culturali divergenti e da contaminazioni particolari. Il quadro cosi formulato puo consentire il confronto con altri ambiti geografici gia studiati e aiutare la messa a punto di interventi rivolti alla conservazione e al restauro degli edifici storici.
