Todd Wilkinson has been a noted American journalist and author for thirty years, known foremost for his writing about the environment and art. With assignments taking him around the world, his work has appeared widely in publications ranging from National Geographic to the Christian Science Monitor. He is the author of the critically acclaimed Grizzly: The Bears of Greater Yellowstone and the biography Last Stand: Ted Turner's Quest to Save a Troubled Planet. He lives in Bozeman, Montana.

Michael H. Francis, trained as a wildlife biologist, is a wildlife photographer whose work has been internationally recognized for its beautiful, informative imagery. Mike's work has been published by the National Geographic Society, The Audubon Society, The National Wildlife Federation; and such magazines as Field & Stream, Outdoor Life and Sports Afield. He is the sole photographer for 26 books and guides nature photography expeditions. The past president of the North American Nature Photography Association, Mike lives in Billings, Montana.
