Author: Pappas, Theoni
Theoni Pappas is a mathematics teacher and consultant and received her B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and her M.A. from Stanford University. Pappas is committed to demystifying mathematics and to helping eliminate the elitism and fear often associated with it. In 2000 she received The Excellence in Achievement Award from the University of California Alumni Association.

Her books have been translated into Japanese, Finnish, French, Slovakian, Czech, Korean, Turkish, Russian, Thai, simplified and traditional Chinese, Portuguese, Italian, Vietnamese, and Spanish.

In addition to The Mathematics Calendar, Pappas has written over 15 books and created many other products which are focused on introducing people to the many wonders of mathematics.
