Dr. M. C. (Millie) Gore is Chair of the Special Education Department of the Gordon T. and Helen West College of Education at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. She is the author or co-author of several books, including the Corwin Press title (with Dr. John F. Dowd), "Taming the Time Stealer: Tricks of the Trade From Organized Teachers. "
Millie received the undergraduate and masters degree from Eastern New Mexico University, and the doctorate from the University of Arkansas.
She and her husband Don are parents to Belle, a blind Shetland Sheepdog, and to Winnie, an emotionally fragile Australian Shepherd mix.
