Annelies Marie Frank, plus connue sous le nom d'Anne Frank, nee le 12 juin 1929 a Francfort-sur-le-Main, en Allemagne, sous la Republique de Weimar, ayant vecu la majeure partie de sa vie aux Pays-Bas et decedee en mars 1945 (environ deux mois avant la capitulation allemande) a Bergen-Belsen en Allemagne nazie, fut une adolescente allemande juive ayant ecrit un journal intime, rapporte dans le livre - Journal d'Anne Frank -, alors qu'elle se cachait avec sa famille et quatre amis a Amsterdam pendant l'occupation allemande durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale dans le but d'eviter la Shoah.

Adapted by: Folman, Ari
Ari Folmanis an award-winning Israeli film director. "Saint Clara," his first feature film, won six Israeli Academy Awards (including Best Film and Best Director) and the People's Choice Award at the 1996 Berlin Film Festival. He lives in Israel.


David Polonsky's illustrations have appeared in every major Israeli publication. He has directed animated children's television, received multiple awards for his children's books, and taught illustration at the prestigious Bezalel art academy.
